Iman Academy is proud to spotlight one of its young and determined students, Aaqil Mahuroof, a 14-year-old with an extraordinary passion for motorsport. From a young age, Aaqil dreamed of racing competitively, a dream that recently came true when he took part in his debut race at the Mahameruwa Rally Cross. This milestone marked not just a thrilling personal achievement, but the official beginning of what promises to be an exciting journey in competitive racing.

With the encouragement and inspiration of his father, who also has a background in motorsport, Aaqil’s enthusiasm has only grown stronger. Backed by family support and driven by sheer determination, he continues to train and prepare for upcoming races. His next major challenge will be at the Udawalawe Super Cross 2025, where he aims to further showcase his talent.
