The Author
At Iman Academy, the written word is a sacred tool. We teach our students that writing is not just a form of expression, it is a way to preserve truth, inspire hearts, and uplift others. Whether they are penning reflective journal entries, storybooks for younger peers, or full-length novels, our students are nurtured to write with clarity, purpose, and sincerity.
From a young age, students at Iman Academy are introduced to writing as a form of ibadah. Through structured creative writing programs, Qur'an-inspired reflections, and storytelling workshops, they are encouraged to explore language while grounding their voice in values. Every student learns that words carry weight, and with that weight comes responsibility.
Stories That Reflect Light at Iman Academy
Some students go on to author books that reflect their imagination, courage, and commitment to storytelling. Among the notable titles published by Iman Academy students:

- Abdullah Azim (2020) - Arda Baldacci: The Fallen Academy
Arda seeks adventure amidst the mundane normality of Acanon. Little does he know that his determination to explore the world will change his life forever! Embarking on a perilous journey with his mentor Dom, Arda hopes to reunite with his long-lost mother. He never expects the love and evil he encounters along the way, nor the primordial elements lurking therein!

- Hasuna Subhan - Unravel Me, Unravel You
“We strangely get each other, intertwined yet not the same, clutched together by love, gentle but seemingly tight… Can you spare a few moments of bravery to say yes?” A lyrical, emotionally rich exploration of identity, healing, and personal transformation.

- Aleeza Sheriff - My Grandfather, My Hero
A biography based on the life and times of one of Sri Lanka’s most patriotic and loyal sons, Vidya Jyothi Professor Hussain Rezvi Sheriff. From his early years, the biography covers many details and vital life lessons to inspire today's youth on how to plan a successful and balanced future for themselves.
Each of these titles is a testament to the creative spirit and moral clarity that Iman Academy cultivates. These books have been showcased at student author panels, reading circles, and literary fairs, inspiring younger students to follow their writing journey.
“At Iman Academy, writing isn’t about perfect grammar, it’s about writing something worth remembering,” shares Aleeza. “My book is my way of honouring someone I love and sharing that love with the world.”
“Writing Arda’s story helped me step into a world beyond my own,” says Abdullah. “Every twist, every challenge in the book is a reflection of what we all face in life, faith, fear, and the search for truth. Iman Academy gave me the courage to explore that.”
“Writing helped me unravel parts of myself I didn’t even know were there,” shares Hasuna. “At Iman Academy, I learned that words can hold emotion, faith, and healing all at once. My book is my quiet voice learning how to be heard.”
The Student Writer at Iman Academy is not just a storyteller, they are a soul-carver, a bridge-builder, and a truth-seeker. Through writing, they leave behind not just pages, but legacy.
