Iman Academy Trust

If you do good, you do good for yourself...

IMAN ACADEMY, formerly known as Al Iman Schools, was established in February 2008 by two visionary founders with a mission to create a community-centered educational institution. At its inception, it was a pioneering Islamic school in Sri Lanka, setting a new standard for faith-based education in the region. Over the years, the Academy has evolved with a steadfast commitment to becoming the nation's foremost Islamic educational institution.
In 2019, the Iman Academy Trust was formed as a Public Charitable Trust to formalize governance and ensure operational transparency. Officially registered on 22 February 2022 under Trust Deed No. 49, the Trust is managed by a five-member Board of Trustees, with provisions for expanding to nine trustees. The selection process for trustees is rigorous, emphasizing key qualifications and responsibilities.
Since 2019, both the Academy and the Trust have been subject to independent financial audits, demonstrating an ongoing commitment to the highest standards of accountability and transparency.
