Trainings

In early 2022, Iman Academy proudly launched the Imanian Esteem Educator Teacher Training Programme, led by Rukshana Hassen and her team of specialist facilitators. This holistic series is crafted to prepare our educators for success on a global stage, equipping them with advanced skills, refreshed mindsets, and cutting-edge pedagogical practices.

Programme Overview:

The Imanian Esteem Programme spans six intensive modules, each designed to deepen expertise, spark innovation, and foster an educator identity that seamlessly blends faith-rooted values with world-class professional standards. Participants emerge not only ready to lead in their own classrooms but poised to contribute to international conversations on teaching and learning.

Key Learning Experiences:

  • Deep-Dive Workshops: Each module features multi-day workshops combining theory with practicum; peer teaching, micro-lesson labs, and expert feedback sessions.
  • Global Case Studies: Participants analyze successful programmes from around the world, adapting evidence-based innovations to Iman Academy’s mission and context.
  • Collaborative Design Studios: Cross-discipline teams co-create unit plans that integrate at least two focus areas, e.g., an Islamic STEAM project or a technology-enhanced storytelling unit.
  • Mentorship & Coaching: Every educator is paired with a mentor from Rukshana Hassen’s expert network for monthly one-on-one coaching, reflective dialogue, and goal tracking.

Outcomes & Impact:

  • Elevated Mindsets: Teachers report enhanced confidence in adopting global best practices, 92% say they feel “ready to present at international forums” by programme end.
  • Innovative Curriculum Materials: Over 50 new lesson frameworks and project templates, aligned with both national standards and 21st-century competencies, ready for immediate classroom use.
  • Professional Learning Community: A sustained online hub hosts resource libraries, discussion forums, and quarterly “global roundtables” where faculty share successes and troubleshoot challenges.
  • Certification & Recognition: Graduates receive the Iman Academy Global Educator Certification, acknowledgment of their mastery in faith-integrated, future-focused teaching.

By uniting time-honored Islamic educational values with leading-edge professional learning, the Imanian Esteem Educator Programme ensures our teachers are not just prepared for today’s challenges, but poised to shape the future of education; locally and globally.

On a Transformational 5D Thinking Journey in Turkey

Imanian educators recently engaged in transformative training with Professor Necati Aydin and Sister Uzma Ahmed, immersing themselves in the 5D Thinking model; a powerful framework that nurtures ethical, analytical, and purpose-driven learning. Rooted in Islamic philosophy and universal principles, the model invites learners to move beyond surface understanding and into deeper, values-based inquiry.

The five dimensions; Explore, Compare, Question, Connect, and Appreciate, equip teachers to guide students through layered thinking processes.
