The spirit of grace, grit, and goodness filled the Sri Sambuddha Jayanthi Mandiraya Auditorium, Colombo 5, on Tuesday, July 2nd, 2025, as Iman Academy proudly hosted its Annual Girls’ Performance Day under the inspiring theme: “Queen of Character.”

The event featured an electrifying Inter-House Drama Competition, where students of all ages brought to life compelling narratives rooted in Islamic values and timeless virtues. The energy and dedication on stage were matched only by the elegance of the message each performance carried.

After a dynamic display of creativity and conviction, Hayyan House emerged victorious, taking home the coveted Best Drama Trophy, a symbol of their collective talent, teamwork, and heartfelt expression.

The evening was graced by two distinguished Guests of Honour:

Ms. Hasna Luthufi is a seasoned counseling psychologist and global advocate for child and adolescent mental health, with over 14 years of experience.

Ms. Maram Khalifa is a psychotherapist and parenting specialist with over 13 years of experience, known for her trauma-informed, faith-aligned approach to youth and family healing.

Together, they inspired the audience with words that echoed the essence of the theme, reminding all present that true queens are crowned not with gold, but with character.
